What’s the biggest challenge in archive relocation? 

It is to maintain the archive structure during the entire process. This means adding the keen eye of archive experts to the team in charge of the removal.

This project, of rare technical and logistical complexity, was completed after six months of exemplary collaboration between our partners, REISSWOLF Archivage France and Demeco Entreprises. 

Additionally, all the archive materials were carefully undusted by a team of eight experts in dust removal operations before storing the items.

A few indicators bear witness to the scale of the mission:

• Logistics volume: 350,000 boxes transferred, the equivalent of 38 linear kilometres of archives.
• 7,400 pickings done by 25 movers for restructuring the archive at the new site.
