Slovenia opened two new facilities expanding its premises in Komenda

REISSWOLF Slovenia officially opened the doors of two new facilities on its premises in the Komenda Business Zone on June 11th, 2026. 

The first facility is an extension to the existing archive and scanning building. It provides storage capacity for approximately 50,000 archive boxes, increasing the site capacity to a total of 150,000 boxes. It has an additional area dedicated to scanning, indexing, and digitalization services, which now have in total of 450 square meters.

A new destruction facility increased the total area dedicated to destruction to 800 square meters. The new facility is equipped with two state-of-the-art Vecoplan equipment lines: one dedicated to the secure destruction of documents, uniforms, and textiles, and another one dedicated to the destruction of IT equipment and data carriers (HDDs, SSDs, mobile phones, servers, PCs, etc.).

Extended space for the demand on archive, scanning and destruction

This investment significantly increases the capacity of the Komenda premises and allows the REISSWOLF partners in Slovenia to support the growing demand for archive storage, digitalization projects, and secure destruction services in the country. 

Komenda site opening event

The opening was attended by approximately 200 guests, including customers, business partners, local authorities, and members of the local business community. 

Representatives of REISSWOLF International and partners from across the REISSWOLF network also attended the event and presented a commemorative award to mark the official opening of the new facilities.

REISSWOLF Slovenia added a charitable component to the event, raising 1,000 Euros for the Municipality of Komenda charity fund through a document destruction campaign, and raising 6,040 Euros for the Tadej Pogačar Foundation through the auction of a signed cycling jersey.
